Pastor James Spence, Jr. is a devoted servant of God, hailing from Park Hall, Maryland. He answered the call to ministry at just 16 years old, preaching his first sermon in 1978 at the House of God-Gates of Heaven.

A graduate of Great Mills High School and Emmanuel College, Pastor Spence earned his A.A. and B.A. degrees in 1981 and 1983, respectively. He also received an Evangelical Teacher Training Diploma from ETTA in 1983.

Following God's guidance, Pastor Spence founded Praise and Deliverance Fellowship, now Oasis of Victory Christian Church International. With a heart for serving others, he has collaborated with local non-profits to feed the hungry, empower families, and respond to those in crisis.

Pastor Spence's community involvement includes hosting "Empowering Your World" and serving on various boards and committees. His dedication earned him the St. Mary's County Citizen of the Year award in 2012.

Pastor Spence remains committed to building God's kingdom. He resides in Lexington Park, Maryland, and is a proud father to his daughter, Courtney.
